The NSS students are sent to work in the local areas and community center. Students participate in community service projects undertaken by Nehru Yuva Kendra . |

They help in promoting literacy, AIDS awareness, Pulse polio campaign, Blood donation etc. |

The ranger units also performs many activities First-Aid training, camping etc. |

The students organized a fete to help Tsunami victims and collected 38000/= for prime minister’s relief funds. The staff also donated funds for natural disasters . |

One units of 20 U.P. Senior Girls Battallion N.C.C. has been allotted and parade starts from April 2007. |

A plantation drive was launched on 5th SEP. 2006. Students contributed plants and planted 2000 plants and plantlets in the college campus. Hon. Minister of state for higher education visited the college and participated in the drive. Mr. Rajeev Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Higher education UP Govt. also joined the students in the plantation drive. |

| Science students periodically visit Regional Science Center to attend lectures of distinguished scientists, science exhibitions, workshop/ demonstrations etc. Student participated in Inter-collegiate cultural and co-curricular competitions organized by local colleges. |

| Students participated in spiritual programs of Vivekanand Kendra, Lucknow. Students participated in essay writing competition of sahaj marg Adhyatmik sansthan. Students and staff participated in Amateur Radio training and Disaster management program at IMDUP, Lucknow. |
